No matter what anyone thinks or says about B2B, ‘playing by the rules’ of your sector is a terrible, horrible plan.
And with so much hard-earned money being spent on videos that are so easy to forget, we decided it was time to poke some long overdue fun.


We are experts in Boring.
The thing is, the filmmakers at Deadpan have all spent most of our careers making the blandly blending-in B2B videos that nobody likes...
But we also know what an enormous difference it makes when a brand breaks the norms of their industry and dopes something that is witty and fresh and impossible to ignore.
So we’re grateful for all that time we spent learning how to make dull videos that nobody watches – because it taught us how to give Deadpan clients the complete opposite.

Chief of all things creative, strategic and chucklesome, Luke is a Royal Television Society award-winning director (ooh fancy) and an experienced agency leader in the world of advertising content for brands who can’t afford to blend in.
Spends an unreasonable amount of time styling his hair.

RONNIE BUSHELL - EDITOR / COLOURIST
Ronnie could edit the nose off your face, if indeed that’s what you’d asked him to do, which seems unlikely. Edits the kind of comedy content that makes audiences gasp, stare and perhaps snort a little warm tea out of the nostrils.

Joe Kershaw - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Brings cinematic beauty to B2B without rolling his eyes - even whilst shooting a fake prostate exam sketch on what turned out to be an adult film set. Born in the wrong era. He is also bald.

Will Carman - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Will has shot all there is to be shot in the world of brand content and creative advertising. Will has the instincts of a puma, if pumas wore nose rings and never made anyone a goddam cup of tea.

Kat Brown - PRODUCER
Can source strong talent, secure locations and make a very convincing fake bush. She once strapped a rubber duck to her head for a shot. This is producing, apparently. Also, Kat has a cat.

Summer Reynolds - PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Carries more equipment than health & safety would ever approve. Shoots behind the scenes, boosts morale and never stops talking. Ever. Has a tattoo of a naked lady she insists on showing people.

Mortimer Skellington - Mascot
Technically dead. Still more expressive than most brands.
Stands in photos.
Sits on our merchandise.
Gets more attention than any of us.
It isn't going to push itself.
