KlientBoost

The Brief

After the success of Too Many Hats, KlientBoost wanted another metaphor-driven comedy starring Amy - the overstretched marketing manager who became a fan favourite online. This time the pain point was agency hand-holding.Through interviews with marketing managers, we heard the same frustration:

“We hire an agency to lighten the load… and end up babysitting the junior.”

So we made that metaphor painfully literal. Amy is forced to hold the hand of Brent - an eager but entirely useless junior from a fictional agency. He follows her everywhere. Strategy meeting? Holding hands. Office walk-through? Holding hands. Toilet? Still holding hands.Nobody comments on it. It’s just… happening.By showing the worst version of agency support, KlientBoost positioned themselves as the opposite: the agency you don’t have to parent.

The Results

The response was immediate. The advert helped KlientBoost close their largest deal of the financial year — a £120,000 retainer. The client literally said:

“You guys just get it.”

It also sparked multiple inbound leads, performed strongly on LinkedIn, and set the tone for the wider episodic campaign. Hand Holding proved that when brands show they truly understand marketing managers, comedy becomes a sales tool.
